Fable is looking for part-time baristas to join our café team in Holly Springs. We’re looking for kind, dependable people who enjoy making good drinks, caring for the little details, and helping guests feel welcome from the moment they walk in. Our baristas are part of what makes Fable feel like Fable: cozy, thoughtful, and community-centered, even on busy days.
What You'll Do
- Welcome guests and provide warm, attentive service.
- Prepare espresso drinks, tea, and other café menu items to Fable standards.
- Operate the POS system for café purchases, pickup orders, and event check-ins.
- Restock café supplies, cups, lids, syrups, milks, pastries, and other service items.
- Maintain clean, organized café stations, seating areas, and guest spaces.
- Follow food safety, handwashing, glove-use, labeling, and cleaning procedures.
- Support operating tasks as assigned.
- Assist with guest flow during busy service periods.
- Communicate clearly with team leads about inventory needs, guest issues, or service concerns.
- Help create a welcoming, inclusive environment for guests, families, and community members.
What We're Looking For
- Warm, dependable, and comfortable engaging with guests.
- Interest in coffee, books, hospitality, local community, or small business service.
- Ability to learn drink recipes, café procedures, POS systems, and service workflows.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
- Able to stand for a full shift and lift typical café inventory boxes.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow food safety procedures.
